What if the U.S. could create up to 5 million jobs, increase our nation's gross domestic product by up to $720 billion and provide a shot in the arm to American manufacturing — all at no cost to taxpayers? It's a plan that would unite Democrats and Republicans and garner support in the House and Senate.

Over the past decade, currency manipulation by foreign governments has resulted in an increase in unfairly traded imports into the United States and has made it more difficult for U.S. exporters to compete in foreign markets. The practice has cost U.S. workers between one million and five million jobs. We need strong and enforceable disciplines in TPP to help prevent that from happening.

Senate Finance Chairman Orrin Hatch, House Commerce Chairman Fred Upton, and Senator Richard Burr sent out a press release announcing their party’s “plan” to replace the Affordable Care Act. New? Hardly. They even used the exact same press release they sent a year ago. Not to mention, there’s still no bill.
