Neal Statement on the Passage of Government Funding Package

WASHINGTON, DC –Today, Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal released the following statement after yet again House Democrats delivered a majority of votes to fund the government:

“Today, Democrats staved off the sixth Republican-manufactured shutdown crisis in as many months, once again delivering a majority of votes to keep the government open. I join the American people in wondering how Republicans can call themselves a governing party when they have proven time and time again that they cannot be trusted to govern.”
